The track is on his debut album, Doo-Wops & Hooligans due out October 5. He will be an opening act in Maroon 5′s Hands All Over tour and in Travis McCoy’s European tour. He will also headline his own tour in the fall after his album release.

Watch Travis McCoy’s new video “We’ll Be Alright” from his solo album, Lazarus, released earlier this year.

His style has definitely changed compared to his older music. The song sounds like its from an American Eagle in-store soundtrack and has an upbeat sweet 16 vibe to it. You can just picture kids frolicking through the sand in their polo’s while this plays in the background.

“True Love” is the latest leak from Ke$ha featuring Katy Perry.

Both ladies are very busy right now. Ke$ha and Travis McCoy are both opening for Rihanna’s Last Girl on Earth tour, which on August 5th will be in Toronto performing at Molson Amphitheater (Click to for tour dates and tickets). While California girl Katy Perry will be coming out with her own fragrance, named “Purr,” this fall, and will also make her film debut in The Smurfs, as Smurfette in 2011.

Travis McCoy, lead singer of alt-hip hop band Gym Class Heroes, just released his second single off his debut solo album entitled Lazarus, which was released last week on June 8.  The song “The Manual” features T-Pain and Young Cash, and is McCoy’s own mix of the song “Tattoo Girl” by Detail, Lil Wayne and T-Pain.

Of McCoy’s new album, Spin writer Mikael Wood says “most of Lazarus is so bright you’ll need (designer) shades”.
