Madonna’s little girl, Lourdes is bursting into the fashion world. The 14-year old already has her own fashion line entitled and has launched her own beauty line on August 2nd called Material Girl. In a recent interview she stated, “It was really hard at first because I didn’t know what I was doing. I was like, ‘You know, not a lot of people wear this. Let me just wear it.’ It wasn’t even that it looked good on me. I was just like, ‘Let me do this because not a lot of people are doing it.’ Now I feel like I can follow fashion a lot better than I used to, but also have some of my own take on it.”

Although she partnered up with her mother to design her line she admits that they don’t always agree on it, “I have to tell her, ‘Mom, it is the in thing. This is what kids are doing now. If you don’t do this, then it is going to suck.’ And then she usually gives in.”
The new line comes with body lotions, body washed, mists, lip glosses, and nail polishes. This young fashionista is on the road to success with an extended line that entails nail polish and undergarments. Material Girl will be available at Macys in-store and online mid-August. Madonna, the queen of pop,and daughter Lordes have come together for a collaboration on a line for Macy’s called Material Girl.  It is said that the collection is to hit 200 Macy stores August 3rd, and will be unveiled at the end of July by a celebrity that the pop queen has handpicked herself. The Material Girl collection includes apparel, footwear, handbags, jewelry and hair accessories, and all at affordable prices. We can’t wait!
