Kristen Stewart looks beautiful in a Gucci dress on the October 2012 issue of British Vogue to promote her new movie, On the Road.

Here is what the 22-year-old Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 actress had to share with the mag:

On struggling to play it cool in this industry: “I know if you haven’t thought about how you want to present a very packaged idea of yourself then it can seem like you lack ambition. But, dude, honestly? I can’t. People expect it to be easy because there you are, out there, doing the thing that you want and making lots of money out of it. But, you know, I’m not that smooth. I can get clumsy around certain people. Like if I were to sit down and think, ‘OK, I’m really famous, how am I going to conduct myself in public?’ I wouldn’t know who that person would be! It would be a lot easier if I could, but I can’t.”

On going blonde for On the Road: “I feel like my whole body rejects it, but it was really important for the character. It was like learning an accent!”

On having empathy for the Beat generation: “There is always going to be that seam of people who want things differently to the standardized version. It’s not necessarily a rebellious thing, it’s just who they are. That world back then, it just seems freer to me than anything I could ever touch and I’m fully nostalgic for it, even though I wasn’t even alive then. It’s the loyalty aspect of it all. I love being on the periphery with a group of people who have the same values that I do. People who don’t get off on fame, who just like the process of making movies and thrive.”

Although Watson has been in other films since the release of the final Harry Potter in 2011 (Perks of Being a Wallflower being the most recent), it might come as a shock to the system of many a Granger geek to find out that she will be stripping out of her Gryffindor robes in favour of something a little more…revealing.

This literary porn (which delves into the kinky world bondage, discipline, sadism and masochism) the debut novel of British author E. L. James, has received its fair share of negative reviews with The New Zealand Herald stating that the book “will win no prizes for its prose”, and one reporter for Metro News Canada writing that “suffering through 500 pages of this heroine’s inner dialogue was torturous, and not in the intended, sexy kind of way”. These reviews however (and trust me there are several others where those came from), have not stopped the novel’s success. 50 Shades has sold over 31 million copies world-wide and the two books that follow it have sold similar numbers.

The trilogy’s popularity has not gone unnoticed by film companies however, as the rights to the film adaptation has become highly sought after with Warner Bros., Sony, Paramount, Universal Pictures, and Mark Wahlberg’s Production Company all having placed bids for them.

There is still not guarantee that Watson will be playing Ms. Steele however, as neither her nor her reps have made comment on the situation.

Other actresses rumored to be up for the role are Elizabeth Olsen, Mila Kunis and Kristen Stewart.

On not taking perfect pictures: “I have been criticized a lot for not looking perfect in every photograph. I get some serious shit about it. I’m not embarrassed about it. I’m proud of it. If I took perfect pictures all the time, the people standing in the room with me, or on the carpet, would think, What an actress! What a faker! That thought embarrasses me so much that I look like sh-t in half my photos, and I don’t give a f–k. What matters to me is that the people in the room leave and say, ‘She was cool. She had a good time. She was honest.’ I don’t care about the voracious, starving sh-t eaters who want to turn truth into shit. Not that you can say that in Vanity Fair!”

On her style as a kid: “Look at a picture of me before I was 15. I am a boy. I wore my brother’s clothes, dude! Not like I cared that much, but I remember being made fun of because I wasn’t wearing Juicy jeans. I didn’t even think about it. I wore my gym clothes. But it’s not like I didn’t care that they made fun of me. It really bothered me. I remember this girl in sixth grade looked at me in gym and was like, ‘Oh my God! That’s disgusting—you don’t shave your legs!”

Robert Pattinson on the public’s perception of Kristen: “People have decided how they are going to perceive her. No matter how many times she smiles, they’ll put in the one picture where she’s not smiling.”

Snow White and the Huntsman co-stars Kristen Stewart & Charlize Theron cover this month’s ‘Interview’ Magazine! We can’t wait to see this movie!

Here’s what the actresses had to share:

Kristen, on playing the title character: “The tricky thing is that you can’t have Snow White’s effect on people. I can’t have this supernatural light that sort of instantly affects those around me. There were things that Ineeded to believe, even though it was hard at times. But I did because the fantasy part of it was written well. You know how you meet people in life sometimes where you go, ‘Wow, you’ve got this energy…’ This is just sort of a heightened version of that.

Kristen, on Charlize: “She’s a f—— movie star. It’s funny, too, because she always says, ‘I’m not really a performer.’ But I’m like, ‘Yeah, not at all.’ [laughs] She’s an actor and a performer.”

Charlize, on starting a family: “You can’t really be too calculated about everything in life. I think I’ve gone through my life with the understanding that you’ve got to let go and you can’t think that you’re going to control your destiny… That’s why I’ve never had a five-year plan. I always knew that I wanted to have children. It wasn’t kind of something that I discovered later. I also never felt the biological clock ticking because I think I always knew that I wanted to adopt. It never meant that I didn’t want to have my own children—I always felt that if I were in the right circumstances then I would totally have my own children.”

On her sheltered upbringing: “You can learn so much from bad things. I feel boring. I feel like, Why is everything so easy for me? I can’t wait for something crazy to f—ing happen to me. Just life. I want someone to f— me over! Do you know what I mean?”

On the gold ring circling her index finger, rumored to be from Robert Pattinson: “Everyone wants to know. Everyone knows already -it’s ridiculous.”

On what it’s like to see herself on screen: “Laurence Olivier was asked, ‘Actors, what’s the impulse? On intensity of her characters’ roles: “It’s one of the reasons I want to act. I love living in different worlds, because a lot of times mine is pretty nice and easy.”

On the brown contact lenses she wears in the Twilight films: “It’s like I always have sunglasses on — soulless, googly-eyed sunglasses. You can’t feel your eyeballs. They ruined me.”

On riding horses in SWATH: “I hated it. I didn’t take to the whole mentality of f**king ordering that thing around — ‘Go now!’ You have to be an a**hole, basically. Not to say that horse people are a**holes to their horses. But you have to basically tell that thing who’s boss, and I didn’t want to do that. I was like, ‘No, do your thing. I don’t even want to be up here.’”

Fans will have to wait, gnashing teeth and biting into clothes, until 16 November for the film’s release, but we have some glimpses of the cast giving it their all and Bella is seen reading a piece of paper that says: “Gather as many witnesses as you can before the snow sticks to the ground. That’s when they’ll come for us.”

She then tells Edward: “It’s strange. Physically, I feel like I could demolish a tank. Mentally, I feel just drained.”

Edward says to Bella: “I’ve had a bad habit of underestimating you.

“Every obstacle you’ve faced, I’d think you couldn’t overcome it, but you just did. You’re the reason I have something to fight for — a family.”
