Drake, Mary J. Blige & Swizz Beatz Performance at the 2010 MTV VMAs

This year’s hip-hop heartthrob Drake performed “Fancy” with Mary J.Blige and Swizz Beatz, capturing most of the MTV audience his charm and talent. Mary J. Blige and Swiss Beatz put on a good show, though it was definitely Drake who stole the spotlight in this performance.
Metallica Is Releasing A New EP
Just before the band Metallica heads off to the real down under of Australia and New Zealand they will be releasing a new EP album that will have eight limited songs on it.
The album is titled Six Feet Down Under and you can purchase it in stores on Monday September 20th. Unfournately, this album cannot be bought in Canadian stores and can instead only be bought on the bands website.
A quote from the band states that “a few of these songs are, well, we’ll say ‘rough,’ which may be an understatement!! They do, however, capture the live moments and hopefully you’ll have as much fun listening as we did playing on those nights.” The new album has songs that were mostly played in the ‘down under’ area and they were rerecorded specifically for this album and their tour.

Usher’s Performance at the 2010 MTV VMAs
R&B superstar Usher never fails to amaze us with his great singing and dancing talent! At the 2010 MTV VMA’s last night Usher gave a cool performance with light beams and rays all over the stage. He performed his summer hits “DJ Got Us Falling In Love” and “OMG“.

Coldplay Fans Will Have To Wait For Their New Album
Unfortunately, fans who were looking to purchase the new Coldplay album will have to wait until 2011. The band thought that they would be able to have their new album ready for 2010, but it turns out that they have much more work to do than they thought.
Quoted from the band’s website Chris Martin stated that although they are close to finishing lots of songs, they have not actually finished anything at all yet. He said there’d be no chance of the album coming out for Christmas.
I guess the fans will have to wait for a while before any new music from Coldplay is released.
Fefe Dobson Performance at the Bell Lightbox Block Party
Canadian pop/rock sensation and Bestfan’s very own Fefe Dobson rocked the stage at the Bell Lightbox Block Party for the opening weekend of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) yesterday afternoon.

Fefe’s high energy and electrifying performance blew the entire audience away, singing her new single “Stuttering” and other tracks which can be heard on her upcoming album, Joy. Fefe looked stunning in her unique dye shirt, sexy Luv U Always leggings and cool rocker-chick shades. It was an absolutely amazing set from start to end! Great job Fefe!

Eminem & Rihanna Performance at the 2010 MTV VMAs
Eminem gave an amazing performance at last night’s 2010 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles. The rapper sang his two smash hits “Not Afraid” and “Love The Way You Lie“, which Rihanna joined in with her super frilly skirt and cherry red hair. It was a great performance from the both of them.
Eminem took home two moon men for Best Hip Hop Video and Best Male Video, which Nicki Minaj took on behalf of him for his song “Not Afraid“! Congrats!
