A&R Report and BestFan.com are teaming up for an exciting new project and event called Who Got Next? This is an event supporting local un-signed talent in a showcase. With A&R executives from various labels including Max Gousse (VP of Island Def Jam Records) in attendance, this an opportunity for these artists and bands to get the shine they deserve in one of the music capitals of the world – Toronto!

The event takes place on Thursday, September 6th at the legendary Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Toronto. This is a 19+ event with all proceeds supporting Music Counts, Canada’s music education charity associated with CARAS, is helping to keep music alive in schools across Canada. MusiCounts’ mission is to ensure that children in Canada, regardless of socio-economic circumstances and cultural background, have access to a music program through their school. MusiCounts includes Band Aid musical instrument grants, the MusiCounts Teacher of the Year Award, Scholarships, and other music education initiatives.
