Amidst summer festival season, Stephen Colbert has announced that he will be holding a celebrity-studded concert bash. StePhest Colbchella ’012: RocktAugustFest will be held on August 10th at New York’s Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum. Colbert told viewers on his show The Colbert Report  that the likes of Santigold, The Flaming Lips, fun., and Grizzly Bear have been confirmed to play the concert. Last year, Colbert had artists such as Jack White, Bon Iver and Florence and the Machine perform. Colbert had this to say about the upcoming event “It’s summer and that means it’s time to remount my long-running, one-year tradition of throwing my own summer concert.” If you are going to be in NYC during that time, tickets are available at the Colbert Nation website.
