Steven Tyler has officially announced that he will be bidding adieu to the judging panel on American Idol. Tyler has been a judge on the talent competition show for the past two seasons and has decided that it’s his time to call it quits: “After some long…hard…thoughts…I’ve decided it’s time for me to let go of my mistress ‘American Idol’ before she boils my rabbit,” said Tyler.
“I strayed from my first love, Aerosmith, and I’m back – but instead of begging on my hands and knees, I’ve got two fists in the air and I’m kicking the door open with my band. The next few years are going to be dedicated to kicking some serious ass…”. The ex-judge went on to tell AmericanIdol.com that Areosmith will be releasing their new album Music from Another Dimension, on November 6th of this year. Tyler’s deparcher from the show has left many fans dismayed as he brought a refreshing and brutally honest voice to the panel of judges (he sat alongside Jennifer Lopez and American Idol original: Randy Jackson), in much the same way that Simon Cowell did. He cut through the scared-to-hurt-anyone’s-feelings crap and got to his true opinion and suggestions that really were always more fun to listen to then hearing about how lovely the performer looks today despite their awful rendition of Adele’s Someone Like You.
