Yes, you read that correctly! There is a clothing line in honor of Mr. Nelson Mandela. Being his 94th birthday, he literally celebrated in style by debuting his clothing line 466/64. Supermodel Sam Sarpong, represented by Artist International Management in the USA and Fashionaires in the UK, just signed with the brand 466/64 Fashion which was announced last week at a press conference in New York. Sarpong who has modeled for such Top Designers as Tommy Hilfiger, Louis Vuitton, and Jean Philippe explained to us his feelings towards the line:
“What I like about this fashion line is the colours and the details that go into the product. Every time I wear it I feel so vibrant and most of all this is something that I would wear in my everyday life. When you look at the line it is so me and the way that I have always dressed. Especially with the bow ties.”
Along with this new line, Sarpong has currently been seen as an LA corespondent for Ryan Seacrest’s new show AXS Live which focuses on Music, Fashion, and Entertainment in Pop Culture. The Network AXS TV is Mark Cuban’s HDNET Channel relaunched which goes out to 40 Million Homes.
”I’m very proud to be working on this show and executive producer Debra Weeks and producer Andrew Lavey are creating a ground breaking show.”
This Fall Sam will be seen staring in 2 feature films the festival favorite “Trigger” co-Staring with 90210 Matt Cohen and “No Weapons Formed Against US” with Batman‘s Tiny Lister.

Along with being named by International Fashion Group as one of the 100 most influential people in fashion of 2011, this past year Sarpong did a huge campaign with Boy London, it was an edgy-rock look that we had seen from him before. The campaign has gotten huge press in Europe which caused a huge stir with paparazzi while he was in London. You can even see Miss Rihanna rocking it in a few of her music videos.
