Say it isn’t so! Coachella Festival may have to relocate from its usual spot at the Empire Polo Club or even not take place in 2014 because of a row of tax demands. The California festival which hosts huge names like Radiohead, The Arctic Monkeys, Miike Snow and The Black Keys, takes place over two weekends at the beginning of the summer. It is essentially the kick-off to summer festival season! The possible problems come from a proposed admissions tax on all entertainment events of 2500 or more, which could force the festival to move to another location. This tax would essentially raise ticket prices up an extra $36, which isn’t very appealing for concert-goers. This tax will be voted on in November of this year, so fingers crossed that Coachella Festival can live to see another summer!
