The video showcases the “On a Mission” singer and her friends spending the day in party central, Ibiza. It also shows footage of the artist looking like a beautiful mermaid in solo shots on a rooftop patio. The track is from her acclaimed debut studio album, On a Mission.

Kelly Clarkson fans do not have to wait any longer! Her brand new album Stronger is being released today!

Leading up to the release date Clarkson was posting some of her new singles on her website for fans to listen to. Some of the tracks that got released early included “The War Is Over”, “Honestly”, and “I Forgive You”. The neat thing about these releases was that different celebrities posted messages about these songs.

For example The Today Show wrote “this Tuesday’s guest, Kelly Clarkson just sent us an exclusive song from her new album (out on Monday) Stronger!. Ellen DeGeneres wrote, “loving Kelly Clarkson’s new album. She gave me an advanced copy. I can’t let you hear it yet. Ok, maybe just 1 track.” And Blake Shelton wrote “so my buddy Kelly Clarkson sent me a track from her new record, Stronger. Enjoy my friends..”

Kelly has a lot of great people supporting her and we could not be happier that the album is being released today.

Big news in the T Swift world. She has written 25 new songs for her upcoming album that will be released around this time next year!!

Taylor has been quite busy lately with a sold out Speak Now World Tour that is coming to an end soon in North America, but picking up in Australia and New Zealand. While on the road Taylor has also been busy doing other things, like writing. The young 21-year old superstar just released the news that she now has 25 songs written for the record and is ready to record.

But don’t get too excited. Even though she has written 25 songs she says “I’ve been writing a lot, and I like to take two years to make a record. We’re at the end of year one, and I still have a year left to go write.”

Who knows how many more songs this girl can pump out! She has got a few more months before she starts recording. We may even see two records from her next year.

Ray Parker Jr.‘s iconic theme song for the 1984 movie comes in at #8 on the Bestfan countdown. The video follows a young woman who is haunted by Parker in a neon-lighted house, features many clips from the movie, and has many celebrity cameos including John Candy, Carly Simon, Irene Cara and Chevy Chase. If there is one thing that the Ghostbusters franchise and this song taught audiences, it’s that there is only one group of people to call if there is “something strange in your neighbourhood“! “Ghostbusters!”

On Friday October 21 Royal Wood took his Sneak Peak Tour to the Rivoli theatre in downtown Toronto on Queen street. With three sold out performances at the Rivoli, fans had the opportunity to see him on Thursday October 20, and Saturday October 22. The place was packed on the Friday night and the fans were eager and excited to be there. With twinkling lights spread across the room and onto the stage the venue had intimacy written all over it. Another interesting point about the night was that three faux crows sat perched on the stage with Royal to add some uniqueness to the show.

As Royal took to the stage fans were overjoyed to see him. He began the show with a little bit of comedy, and continued to use his humour throughout the show. Because the tour is called the Sneak Peak Tour the goal of the show was to play some of the singles that he would like to put on his new record that will be released in 2012. Every night of the tour he will have played some new singles for the audience, to gage their opinion on what sounds good.

One of the highlights of the evening was when he played two of his well-known cover’s, “Oompa-Loompa” and “Pumped Up Kicks”. The first song is the famous tune that the Oompa Loompa’s sing in the film Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. And the other track is performed by Foster The People. Royal’s version of these tracks were similar to the originals, however he made them sound beautiful and different.

Royals humour and story-telling continued up until the end of the show when he specifically told the audience “I will play an encore, but you have to cheer loud enough for me to come back out”. He played for up to 2 hours straight and gave his audience a great night out.

This talented artist has the sounds of Lyle Lovett, with a mix of Michael Buble, and Matt Dusk, all combined into one. His music is absolutely beautiful, and it was a pleasure to be invited to the show. Bestfan loved the opportunity to see one of Canada’s most respected artists, and the show was definitely one to remember.

American Idol‘s Scotty McCreery released the video for the second single off of his freshman album Clear As Day this weekend on CMT and it has just arrived online today! The video, which is as wholesome as Grandma’s apple pie, follows McCreery from his high school science class to the baseball diamond where he plays. The music video was even shot at Garner Magnet High School in North Carolina where he is currently a senior – check it out below!
