Nelly Furtado is helping make a difference by partnering up with the Free The Children organization by providing aid to East Africa in hopes of helping the people through their most devastating draught in over 60 years. This is part of Nelly’s ongoing philanthropic work with Free The Children. Earlier this year she travelled to visit the people of Kenya first hand and shared her experience in a special CTV documentary airing Saturday September 10th.

Nelly along with Shawn Desman and Kardinal Offishall are just a few of the artists who will be participating in the worldwide celebration WE DAY on Tuesday, September 27th in Toronto, Canada.
