Bestfan’s host Rachel David sat down with Roddy, Geoff and Jeremy from Regaee-Ska band Rebel Emergency, and special guest, Daniel Wesley while they were in Toronto for their concert at the Mod Club. The guys are finishing up their Canadian tour on the west end and will be back in Toronto on June 24, at the Sound Academy. Bestfan talks the guys about their tour so far, performing with Snoop Dogg and about their upcoming album, Aphrodisiac, which will be releasing soon!

Mac’s New Summer 2011 Collection: Surf Baby
Looking for new makeup trends this summer? Mac is launching Surf Baby, the new summer 2011 makeup collection. Inspiration comes from what other than the beach, clear blue waters and sunny days. Surf Baby consists of new blush, lipsticks, eye shadows, and nail lacquers that incorporate bronze, aqua, white sand and coral. Mac released this collection on May 26th, 2011 in Canada/United States and Internationally in June 2011.

DVF Launches a New Fragrance
New York based designer, Diane Von Furstenberg, popularly known for employing Whitney Port on MTV’s show The City, is launching a new fragrance, that will simply be named ‘Diane’. The fashion designer is joining the likes of other successful fashion houses in the branding of a fragrance. The fragrance is described as ‘floral woody’ and was designed by Givaudan perfumer Aurélian Guichard. The scent contains dominant notes of violet and frangipani. It is set to hit Europe, North America, and the Middle East in October. The scent will be sold in the United States exclusively through Sephora, Bloomingdale’s and Nordstrom. The designer is also expected to launch skin care and makeup lines as part of her new beauty deal—stay tuned!

The much anticipated music video for Brad Paisley’s new single “Old Alabama” has finally been released! Off of his brand new album This Is Country Music, Brad has also released the single “This Is Country Music” which has been receiving large amounts of success in the country music industry. Within the video for “Old Alabama” there are many special guests like the famous NASCAR racer Jeff Gordon, and the band Alabama. The video includes some sexy cars, hilarious old footage of Alabama videos (with Brad photoshopped into them), pretty girls driving way too fast, and Brad and Alabama rocking out to the song on their guitars.
